Architectural Market Development Manager (m/f)

Your responsibilities include

  • Develop strong relationships and networks with Architects, Designers, Engineers & Consultants through regular visits in London & other key cities
  • Educate architects & engineers about Kuraray Interlayers through RIBA CPD sessions and other methods
  • Identify, track and capture new architectural specifications for Kuraray Trosifol® innovative and value added products. Enter & track opportunities into Kuraray CRM tools
  • Provide leadership and represent Kuraray at industry functions, arranging booths, sponsorships and giving presentations at conferences
  • Represent Kuraray in relevant code and standards committees
  • Collect market and industry trends and competitive information. Provide feedback and analysis to the Senior Management
  • Develop new applications and partnerships for Kuraray interlayers in certain construction segments to create repeatable business

This is your job profile

  • BSc Degree in Architecture or in any Engineering discipline (Civil Engineering Preferred) from an accredited University
  • 10+ years of related business development experience.  Preferably in Architecture, specifications with leading architectural firm
  • Very good knowledge of the Glass Industry, thorough knowledge of UK’s Building Construction Industry
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills in English and German
  • Good understanding of the tendering processes for all kind of building projects
  • Strong aptitude for relationship development & management
  • Team player and Entrepreneurial approach to all business development initiatives
  • Enjoys challenges and responsibility
  • Diligent and continually strives to ensure tasks are completed to a high standard
  • Experience in using CRM tools
