Technical Service & Development Chemist (m/f/d)

THESE ARE Your responsibilities

  • Visiting (potential) customers and explain our product portfolio
  • Technical discussion with customers
  • Identify customer needs and propose solutions based on our products
  • Support customers in case of technical problems
  • Generate ideas for new product/application development
  • Coordination of lab experiments and interpretation of results
  • Preparation of technical content for presentations, brochures, etc.
  • Literature and patent research
  • Presentation of technical data to customers
  • (active) participation in seminars, fairs and conferences
  • Technical training of sales organization
  • Close cooperation with marketing & sales
  • Technical exchange with global R&D&TS organization

This is your job profile

  • Master’s/Diploma degree in Chemistry or related area, Ph.D. preferred
  • Good knowledge of polyvinyl alcohol and its applications
  • Experience in scientific working
  • Excellent communication skills and customer orientation
  • Fluent German and English language skills, written and spoken. Additional languages beneficial
  • Good knowledge of common IT tools (MS Office, Salesforce,…)
  • Willingness to travel (up to 30%, mainly Europe), driver’s license
  • Analytic thinking and excellent problem solving skills
  • Independent and structured way of working
  • Proactive and self-motivated working style
  • Strong awareness of safety and work ethics
