WHAT THE JOB BRINGS YOU
- Partnership Development:
You establish and maintain sustainable partnerships with our customers by following (key) account relationship management principles and through professional and effective people management with the sales team and external agents.
- Strategic Account Management:
You are responsible for a portfolio of accounts in your designated geographical area, sales forecasts, sales plan & execution and related administration including credit control matters in line with the company’s strategy.
- Customer Engagement and Support:
You are keen on building up sound, long term partnerships with our customers, offering them complementary to our EVOH products, excellent technical service and development support. This will make it possible for you to collect relevant information for further business development, especially relating to sales, marketing and promotion.
- Technical Expertise and Support:
Your accountabilities also include application development and technical support through close interaction with direct and indirect customers.
- Collaborative Integration:
As part of a dedicated team, you take a proactive role in developing EVOH-based solutions to the market and support the commercial business objectives by providing first line technical support as required. You maintain the existing business as well as identify new challenges in close collaboration with our three development centers in Europe, Asia and North America.
- Market Analysis:
Your strong analytical research skills will support you to explore the market and to stay abreast of what's happening in our industry, what competitors and related industries are up to in terms of product development.
WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU
- Educational and Professional Background:
You bring a solid foundation with a university degree in economics, business development, chemistry, or different technical field, complemented by 10 to 15 years of sales experience within a B2B setting.
- Leadership Qualities:
Your experience in leading a sales team is backed by demonstrable people management skills, showcasing your ability to inspire and guide your team effectively.
- Technical and Commercial Acumen:
You possess a unique blend of commercial and technical expertise, ideally with experience in selling polymers, resins, masterbatch, or packaging materials, enhancing our service offering to customers.
- Initiative and Engagement:
Following an extensive orientation period to fully acquaint you with our products and market, you will take proactive steps as a self-starter to establish and maintain robust relationships with our customers and local agents.
- Innovation and Independence:
We seek an independent, inventive thinker who actively pursues opportunities for improvement and innovation, contributing significant value to our business.
- Understanding of Sales Dynamics:
You have a thorough understanding of complex selling processes, equipped to navigate and manage sophisticated sales cycles.
- Travel Readiness:
Your role requires a willingness to travel up to 40% to meet business needs and customer demands.
- Language Proficiency:
Your communication skills are excellent, with fluency in English and German essential for your regional responsibilities. A strong command of Dutch and other European languages is highly regarded.
